Delete your WidgyKit account

You can delete your WidgyKit account at any time — right in the app, or by sending us an email. This page explains both options and exactly what happens to your data.

Delete it in the app (immediate)

  1. Open WidgyKit and make sure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap “Delete account”, then confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out. The button only appears while you are signed in. If you never signed in, the app uses a random anonymous ID and there is no email or profile linked to you — uninstalling the app removes your widgets from the device.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication), including your email address and the Apple, Google or email sign-in linked to it.
  • Your WidgyKit profile: name, email, role and account dates.
  • Widget unlocks linked to your account, including widgets unlocked with coins in earlier versions of the app.
  • Your pinned widgets list that is synced between your devices.

What is kept

  • Purchase records: Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play) and our in-app purchase provider RevenueCat keep transaction records as required for billing, refunds and tax. In our own purchase and accounting records, the link to your account is replaced with “deleted”.
  • Analytics and crash reports: Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics data is tied to a random ID, not your name or email. It is kept only for the retention period set in those services and then deleted automatically.
  • Data on your device: widgets, events, habits and settings stored on your phone stay there until you remove them or uninstall the app.
  • If you are also a creator in WidgyKit Studio, or sent us feedback, that content is not removed by the in-app button — email us and we will delete it too.

We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete your account and the data listed above within 30 days and reply when it is done. If you used “Hide My Email” with Sign in with Apple, write from the address it forwards to or tell us the relay address.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription — the store keeps billing until you cancel it there. Cancel first, then delete your account. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
